i hope this is in the right thread.

i just got a gt40 explorer intake and was wondering if any one can tell me what gaskets i need to get to put it on my motor. nothing done to the motor like different heads or anything.....just a 302 with stock heads. but im wanting to find a set of gt40p heads. just need to know wat i need to do here. thanks

I think it's Fel-Pro QMS95952 -->> includes the intake gaskets and the upper to lower gasket.

Can you use stock 5.0 lowers and just get a plenum gasket for an explorer? I may be doin gt40 stuff too, and was thinking about that.

You could, but you can get it all at one time by getting this kit.

You can get a gasket set for an 5.0 explorer at autozone.

Or a 94 or 95 cobra intake gasket set, comes with lowers and upper to lower gasket. Autozone, advance or oreilly's. No reason to look everywhere for one, just local parts house.

Fel-Pro 1250"s work for lowers dont they? Is that what comes in the kits?
