So I just picked up Most of my parts for the Mustang . I got the upper and lower intake manifold. 75mm Throttle body Intake tube. all the hosing, Spark plugs. new air filter Upper plenum. all the gaskets. plan on starting the tear down first thing in the morning. anyone have any suggestions on how to go about this. or where to start? or a way to not make too big of a mess when i loose the coolant.

I use a siphon to drain my radiator it works really well......... so what's the plans? I use to have that white lx with FR's on our side of town....... I've got a red one now so if you see a bright red 89gt with FR's that's me........

Cut off the flowmasters, you'll prolly gain 10hp right there.

lol, at the price of significant hp I'd give it up. The more power you make, the more you'll be getting restricted too!

With stock heads and cams I doubt you will much of a gain if any at all. Between the aluminum intake absorbing heat and the added wait I think you will see a net loss in performance.

If that is the case at least it will look alot better if nothing else. But the heads and cams are on the way

So I tore the motor apart today. got all the old stuff off no problem. every thing went on decently except that when putting the fuel rails back on one of the bolts decided it was gonna break off in the Manifold. So some how gotta get it out and replace it. The plenium isnt on yet, the wiring harness is supossed to lay under the plenum but it seems to be too tight of a fit. and according to the picture in the instructions when I get ready to put the alt back on it will be turned around. so im not sure how this is gonna work

Engine code popped up PO301 and P0302 says its a missfire. anyone know how to fix it? or will a tune fix it. cuz i need to do that anyways.. all the spark plugs are brand new. has only just started miss fireing.

that should be cyl 1 and 2 missfiring, swap the coils to other holes and see if the misfire switches too. those coil boots are prone to failure.

are those the first ones on each side if your looking at the motor from the front. or do i have it backwards?
