89 fox with fully buil 99 cobra motor

To all that saw my last 02 v6 with a 99 cobra swap, well I totaled it and now I have a 89 fox lx with a full roll cage, I'm dropping my 99 cobra drivetrain in it. The cobra has
04 cobra heads, fully forged block (aluminun) stroked to a 5.0 and bored .020 over. I can't wit untill I'm done any tips or suggestions are more than appreciated and any 1/4mile guesses are nice to listen to, I'll also be running a 100 shot of nitrous

That sounds like its gonna be a beast, i would say 11's no prob on motor..

sounds awsome iam just starting the same project 03 coba in to a 93 coba swap. if you have any tips yet please share as i will do the same as progress happens. iam trying to keep the fox look and the brakes is going to be the first thing and the front suspension and steering so i will keep in touch. good luck

Sounds good so far I'm switching every harness over including fuel system I'm also using the 99 steering column and shaft due to clearance

You need a aje k member for a swap and your good to go, clearance isn't a issue any where with the 4.6 besides a hood, you will probably want to run the hydro boost

yeah iam going to work on the hydro set up today i have a upr k member is that a issue.

I'm not sure I know the one I have is dropped, is the upr dropped? I had manual brakes and steering was going with the hydroboost but it won't work on my 5.4 so I went with wilwood manual set up.

idont think so it was just a regular 03 upr k-member.

yes i sold it with black 03 wheels and i had the dash and stuff back in it 6500 with no rear end. then i traded the one mystic for my old 93 cobra back thats what iam doing the swap with.

Damn that's a huge change. Spend that money and buy the swap k member. You may get joe or adam to wire it. Not hard but easier if you just have someone to do it for you.

I'm a ford tech ha I do all my own swaps and stuff plus got a donor car with every part I need

yeah ian going to try to do most of it myself also i plan on using all the wiring from headlight to taillight doors and all i want the keyless entry and all to work. i plan on have it done by mid spring. alot to do but it should be fun iam excited about it been wanting to do it for a long time now i have it all.
