Ok, I have decided I am going to go with a Comp 270 cam for my 98 cobra. The comp web site says it suggests MAF, TB, and Injectors and a Tune. I know the tune is necessary, but will it really require a MAF, TB and Injectors. I have a hard time believing that cams are going to max out the 24# injectors and from what I read it is a waste to upgrade the TB. Can anyone give me some insight. I will have 4:30 gears so that part is taken care of. Help a fellow banger out!!!!

There is just worry about the propper amount of air entering the engine. I would say that you will be ok w/ 24lb injectors, but your probably not going to get the cars maximum potential.
Good Luck man.

they could be the recommendations based on how they have tested the cams and got their numbers. that way you may be close to their actual numbers with matching mods

Thanks for the input. I was just curious. I will probably do all the supporting mods they suggest. Just trying to get a feel for what others have seen.

They are just erring on the side of caution. You should be fine. When you get it on the dyno, they should be datalogging and watching what your car is doing through the pulls. You can also monitor fuel pressure.

Thanks NX, I figured it would be fine. Just wanted to ask around and get some feedback.
