dont get me wrong here i have very much respcet for the police. So number one how much do you think a hamilton county(anderson township deputy makes?. well i think it might be a little high for the quality of work they do well this only goes for a few of them. which is my number two problem the deputies that do there job and do it right i thank you for the work you do and you deserve notice for doing a good job, but for the ones that dont care about what kind of work they do thats very very sad. it makes the rest look bad. as for round police and when i say round i mean in the belt area. get off your ass at home run some be active make yourself presentable you do know your always being watched. when i see an over weight police officer i cant help but to feel sorry for the department that he or she works for because it dosnt look good at all. Has anyone ever caught a police officer sleeping? well i have and to be honest it was the funniest thign ever. we had to call the police and where we were at we could see some Dr. offices well were wating for the cops to show up (anderson township) and a few mins after the call was placed some head lights came on in the parking lot of the drs office the deputy pulls up and as he gets out he puts his hat on yawns and streches looks liek he just got out of bed. If i lived in anderson i would be ashamed to have some police offices act like this workign for the community that i live in. Sorry just ranting on and on. let me know your thoughts and opinions on this topic.

in my opinion every career has people doing it that arent cut out for it, or that shouldnt be doing it. and even though he is a big guy you have to pass certain physical requirements to be a cop, just cuz hes fat doesnt mean he cant run. and just because he got out of his car and yawned doesnt mean he was sleeping, i yawn at work all the time. however yes, in every job there are people that dont do their job to the best of their abilities. no reason to judge the entire anderson police department though.

and for all of the cop haters ... i dont know what to say, just seems like a very immature statement to me. you would probably change your mind if there were no cops and every single thing that you worked hard for and bought with your money, like your house or cars or whatever was just vandalized, or stolen because there were no consequesnces for people not to. so go ahead and this is where you say this is america, yeeehaawwww id buy me a gun and run around shootin people. you can bet your ass that people wouldnt be touchin my shit. well guess what, they definately would, wouldnt be so cool to not have cops when someone comes up and shoots your entire family. lets just face it, society needs police. the police risk their lives to protect you, your family, your belongings, and the safety of the public. and for that they should be thanked.

not saying you didnt have a bad experience with the police, just sayin that you should still respect them for what they do, maybe hes just havin a bad day

i think car enthusiasts are just programmed to dislike police. that being said, in all my experiances with them, if i am kind and respectful they are sure to treat me the same, and have always been helpfull (and sometimes forgiving :D )
Ive had things stolen, and even when the police cant find who is responsible, i couldnt even imagine not having them around, it would be chaos.

thats crazy, is your car particularly loud? i have never been given any trouble with that. whenever a cop drives by, i'll nod, and they nod back. (the stang just has flowmasters and shorty headers right now) but i guess we'll see if they maintain that attitude when i finish my mustang :eek:

There used to be an after hours place in Anderson Township (I think it was called Tenders). They (Anderson Twp Sherriffs) used to sit in the parking lot on the other side of Beechmont and wait for you to come out and leave. We used to go there and play pool, I generally drank ice water. I got pulled over three times leaving there, for really lame reasons. If they would have said we are checking for drunks, fine...not you crossed the line, didn't signal, or your registration is expired, oops, I must have typed in the wrong number. Lame asses.

I don't hate cops, In fact I know a couple who I consider to be wonderful human beings, I have had my fair share of truble with others. I hate anyone who resembles any of the following descriptions...worthless,incompetent,lazy,God syndrome, or just plain mean. Unfortunately that describes every UT officer I have met, Kathleen Rodenburg, Oficer Theiman previously of Batavia and the worthless officer who murdered my father in cold blood and then buried the evidence to get away with it. I recently had a conversation with an anderson twp officer over a buddy of mine he wanted to question. Lazy was an understatement, he expected my buddy to take off work to drive to him to answer some questions. Coming to my buddy was out of the question. He did threaten to make trouble for my buddy if he didn't do it. We both told him to piss off. I ended up on the phone with him after my buddy told him it wasn't going to happen because he thought I would convince him to do it. Just another phone jockey.

well i agree with you dirty dog, some cops are great people, some arent, thats just human nature, nothing to do with their job. i also agree that anyone fitting that description sounds like a useless piece to society. and im sorry to hear about your dad. definately sounds like some shady shit and unfortunately some cops do that type of thing. Just didnt think it was fair for people to say they hate cops, yes some are bad people who somehow manage to get the job, and if you dont like that person in particular then they have that right. but some cops are cool as can be, so i dont think it is fair to say that they hate anyone who does that job. theres people that dont like me, doesnt mean they go around saying they hate mechanics lol
