I sold my Festiva, and bought this. You could say i went from one extreme to the next. It's a fantastic car for DD...highly recommend one if you have kids and love a roomy comfortable ride. It has enough power to keep me from getting bored on the way to work and just enough attitude that i don't feel like an old man driving it.

And when you want to mess with people start getting close to their back bumper and they will think you are a cop

It's an '03...they updated the suspension in '03 and from the cars i checked out it definitely made a handling difference so i was pretty set on getting an '03 or newer.

I used to rock one of those, and it was great rolling down the highway, watching people move left when you get behind them......:yup:

When I tooled around in marked cruisers with the full on light bar people rarely even noticed you were behind them. Most people we're to busy checking email, playing with ipods or doing makeup.
When your in front it can be fun, you feel like the pace-car no matter how fast you go the pack won't pass you. If your behind them and they see you it sucks, then they get nervous slow down and take forever to get out of the way. Nice car, hard to get em without the city harvesting the rhino bars.

Just the other day on 275 i went a good 5 miles without anyone passing me. I was in the middle lane going about 70. It's funny because once one person figures out that i'm not a cop and passes me, it opens the flood gates and everyone passes. It really shows the sheep mentality that some people have. That first guy might not have even noticed i was there and could've lead the way for the next guy to get pulled over.

If I see an old interceptor, I first look at the license plate, that's usually a dead giveaway. Or the condition of the car. Normal peds who drive em run em into the ground

That's what i look for. If it has regular plates then it's a civi car. Even county workers have the red letter plates. I'm not sure though....what do unmarked cars have on them? I can't even remember the last time i saw a real unmarked car. The tint is probably part of the issue since people can't see that i'm a random guy driving it. Plus, i don't have a front plate so if i'm behind them there's no way to tell.

Our unmarked CV's have regular plates on them. Granted they are not used for day to day traffic duty...but they can be.

I saw an old cruiser the other day. It was all cleaned up and was rockin' a set of bullitt wheels. Looked pretty good.

Yeah, on mine any of the '05+ Mustang rims will bolt right up. A lot of guys run the premium 5 spoke rims and the 18 inch Bullitts and they both look like they were meant to go on these cars. I really like the older deep dish mesh rims but they won't work on my year car (wrong offset).
