went out riding today and found this cool old building. had to take a couple pics with the bike, just thought i'd share.

Looks like an old school building.

yea it said higginsport high school or something like that just above the door. its a huge building, just has a really creepy feeling to it

Wow , too bad someone couldnt put it to good use. Great looking old building! (and no a bad looking bike either :bigthumb )

two issues

Lead Paint and Asbestos, even simple demolition becomes a headache due to EPA.

thanks, and yea i know it has a really neat look to it. put a couple garage doors on the back, have a kick ass shop below and live upstairs. i think thatd be awesome. and it is right by the ohio river. i bet if you could get on top of that center tower there would be a great view.

exactly what I've been thinking for years. The gym becomes a shop area. Everyone would have their own "parts/build" room on the first floor, then apartments upstairs. Football field would become a go-cart track....yeah twisted thoughs :)

On a smaller scale, an old firehouse. Someone from Cali did just this only it was in a historical district so it had to look normal from the front.

The brass pole is now dual purpose :)
