What was the fastest car you ever had?

I don't know my fastest car was but the 1985 corvette I had 1 year ago had the old L-98 and i had it on 71 south at 153 mph and still climbing.I had it at edgewater and ran it at the test and tune and all i can get was 13.7's out of her. I ran it 14 times that night and I won all 14 races but a black turbo srt-4 neon gave me a run for my money.Fast ass little shit the neon was. Prop's for the rice can from japan,,LOL.

Fastest i've ever had would be the one i have now. It went 12.8 @ 107 a couple years ago...i haven't ran it with the 347 yet.

The fastest thing i've ever driven was a second generation twin turbo RX-7. It make 30psi, and when full boost came on that car was outrageous.

The fastest thing i've ever rode in as a passenger was an 800hp '69 Nova that runs 9s. That was a religious experience. You don't know fast until you've been in something like that.

I hate to say it but the fastest car i ever had was a camaro I had in high school. It was a bright yellow 79 with a 383 and 4:11 gears. I went 12:30s at edge water on street tires through the muffers. I bought the car when i was 15 out of a junk yard and had until i was 21 until a drunk driver got me at a stop light. It was a long time ago and sence then my blood has turned Blue Oval Blue.

My '91 coupe. It went 10.80's@125 N/A, 9.80's@137 on spray. I drove it everywhere, including to and from the dragstrips (40+ miles each way). I sold it about a year and a half ago, damn do I miss it! I don't miss all the headaches it gave me though! Biggest mistake ever was not spending the money to buy a good automatic, instead I tried to cheap out. Boy did it cost me in the long run!!! If I had left it N/A with a g-force I might still have it today. Live and learn:D

Fastest I ever drove a car according to the Speedo was a 93 Z28 I owned. Pegged it at 155MPH+ on I-64 west bound just east of I-164 outside E-ville, IN. Quickest 1/4 in my current car (05 Mustang GT) @ E20 (T/T night)12.34/114 on OEM 235 series rubber.

Yep, frame would twist moving the steering wheel towards the passenger side of the car, since it was bolted to the frame rail. Just one of those things I did when I was a kid, never once thought about dying in it. lol. It had a Reath 5/8" stroker crank, aluminum rods, Howards custom grind solid roller cam, lockerman's porting cylinder heads, and a custom piston, can't remember who did those. It was a collection of famous 50's and 60's speed parts, lol. A buddy of mine and I collected a bunch of early hemi stuff, it was a blast. Lost it all in the flood, had it stored off of East miami river road, miami river came up 3 feet into my shop and the asshole landlord let guys in to 'clean it up' and they took all my hemi stuff to the scrapper. I was too young to know that I had a very strong law suit.

Young or old, nerve or not, you clearly knew/know how to drive or you would have likely clipped the wall and barrel rolled or end-overed the thing with that kind of torque and power. Goes to say you have the talent. Wheel standing a foxbody ain't for the faint of heart or average driver either. Sure would like a shot gun seat for that ride. No doubt I'd come back alive. Before my mustang I had a 91 trans am with a BES built 434, it ran hi 9's on the motor and that was with a nos tune up and a tight nos converter. I never cut it loose on the spray. I wish I did though!
