i want to stuff a FMS 351w crank that has the clev. mains and the chev jour. into a latemodel block,i got the spacer kit for the crank, but the correct piston for the longer eagle h-beam(6.0) forged rods is my concern, how do i figure the right piston to keep at the right height in the block.
FMS CRANK PART # M-6303-G351
EAGLE #crs6000b3d

You would need a custom piston if I'm reading this right. Windsor rods are something like 5.956". This crank 3.5" stroke?

the formula goes something like- deck height- half the stroke-rod length= pin height. So if you have a stock block of 72 or later vintage, should be 9.48-1.75-6=1.73 probably gonna have to have a custom piston made.
