I have a 93 lx with 43xxx miles. original paint that is a 9/10, has some rock chips behind the wheel wells. black interior that still smells like brand new car. stock block paxton gss blower, injectors, mass air, throttle body, cobra intake, edlebrock heads, ford b cam, anderson power pipe and a couple other bolt ons. also has a brand new tko 600 and brand new eibach sportlines with 03/04 cobras. hotchkis upper control and lakewood lower.
it still has smog and a/c.
a couple people on the boards have seen it, but it does not get out a whole bunch. im asking what you think its worth for insurance reasons. i dont drive it cause of all the ding dongs and yahoos that drive now a days. need to get new insurance but cant seem to find anyone that does appraisals. kbb says its worth about 4000.:lol:
any input would be awesome. thanks in advance.

I got insurance from Hagerty on my 93. Just sent them a list of mods and told them I felt $15k would be a fair value and they agreed. I don't remember the amount but I think it was around $350 a year but would have to double check that.

its been a while since i had a fox, but i called state farm about my lightning last year. it had a lot of money in parts so i aasked what would happen and they said as part of my policy i would ged actual value of all of them as long as i could show they were on it.. i would have made out like a bandit if it got wrecked before i got rid of it

Hagerty turned me down not long ago said it had to be worth at least 15k. and said it was not old enough. This was for a '90 LX hatch. How did you prove it to them receipts???

I have State Farm on everything and all I had to do was show them receipts and have an appraisal done. The appraisal was $350.00. Then we did what they call an "Agreeded Value". It was tedious to document everything, but I think its worth it. Hagarty is good too.
