I need help. Since i have a 3550 in my car behind a 5.0 do i need the one for a T-5 of the one for a 3550? It is 2 different part numbers for the lakewood bell housing.

You bought that black and orange GT right? I know the guy who sold it to you, and I would check your transmission if I were you. I was told he sold the 3550 out of it and put a T5 in it, just a heads up before you go ordering something for a 3550 that you don't have.

Just pull the shifter boot off and look at the shifter it self and you'll be able to tell, if you cant tell then post a pic. Get the bellhousing for whatever motor and tranny combo you have. I don't believe one for a T5 would work with a TKO and so on..

He probably told you it had a 3550 when you were buying it.. He is really not the brightest sometimes, hence why you got it in almost non running condition and it was such an easy fix.

I think I'm going to hold off buying a bell, I now my trans wont last long behind this 347.

So hopefully i can find a good deal on a trans in a month or so. I wish i could have bought that Jerico.

That might be a good deal on the Lakewood, but I'd spend the extra money and buy a Quicktime. It's as small as a C4 bell housing.
