Trying to get some ideas of where to put msd 6al in the 95 so if you have an engine bay pic, post it up please. Only thing I can think of now is relocate battery to trunk which I really don't want to do but will if I have to.

Thanks.
Ben

Here is my 94 with the battery relocated. There isn't much left in there so you should be able to get some ideas on were to mount it from the pics. Alot of people put them on the firewall. I have a digital 7 programmable mounted inside the car. Thats the safest place for them to be.

Thanks, I appreciate the pics... Just trying to see what my options are... I have heard people put 6al in engine bay and it's fine, while others say it 'burns them up.' So, I just need to figure out if I want to move the battery to trunk, and risk burning it up in the bay, or just install on passenger side of trans tunnel in the car and run wires... I am leaning inside the car. Less work (since I don't need to move battery right now), and that way I know the 6al will be in better conditions than in bay.

Thanks again.
Ben

+1 on on inside. Glove box also works (well near glove box were the pill can be reached by opening door)

not sure if this will help...

6al's do fine in under hood heat, but not the digital boxs... had a few buddies with digital 6 boxs, going out every few months.. moved them inside the car, never had another issue.

I don't have a SN95 but the Fox engine bay is pretty similar. I mounted mine behind the passenger strut tower on the side of the inner fender above the frame rail in a vertical position. It tucks in there really nice and out of the way it's easy to hide the wires.

It isn't mounted in this pic but it gives you an idea of what area i'm talking about. If you don't have emissions junk back there, or brake hardware (a lot of guys mount brake proportioning valves there) then it's a good open spot to put it in.

I know a lot of my friends mount theirs under the glove box or under the passenger side seat.
