Any one have any, or knows of a good place to get a set? Any special valve cover gaskets?

Dip stick that i can use with a canton 7qt pan? Is it the same as a stock one? Also what should i use as a recomended oil pan gasket?

I know that I need some other stuff but i cant remember right now. lol

This may be a dumb question but I'm going to ask anyway.

I'm looking at valve covers of course. I notice most of them just have a hole on each side. No filler neck. Do i just put a plug in breather in the hole on each side? Will this cause any issues with crankcase pressure or vacuum pressure or anything since I'm going to be fuel injected? My old carb set up was this way. I'd like to be sure though. I dont like messing up.

Thanks,

John

Ebay has the valve covers, $58 shipped, mine turned out to be surprisingly nice and from what Rob said, were fine to weld on also. I had two -12 fittings welded on and am just going to run some breather filters on them for now until I go with the catch can setup.

If your pan is anything like my Moroso, the pan has a specific dipstick that you'll probably have to order through Canton.

Do NOT use the 3 piece oil pan gasket. Use the big one piece gray gasket from Felpro.

This is what the gasket looks like that you want:

Identical to the ford racing polished units but plain. Gonna finish em in matte black.

Thanks Walter, I'll look at them when I get home tonight.
