I would sooner build a clone as close to the real thing as possible so it has a VIN and i could tag it.

I would build a clone of a GT500 also instead of spending that much money on it....but even if i do i would not be able to call it a GT500 and that would be the only reason i would want that car. I think they have built something like that car last year and called it the drag pack. Not for ure but that is what the picture looks like on the news story

They've offered the Cobra Jet for a few years now, but they're built off a body-in-white and don't have a VIN number, so you can't drive them on the street which is BS.

They want them to be at the strip making them look good not at the donut stand being wiped with a diaper

Who was that, on here, that has the old stock-car licensed?

Why couldn't that be done, with a CJ?

zI'm sure it could be done, how do self-assembled cars get tagged??? I personally wouldnt waste the money on it. The novelty part of it would be awesome, but the practicality part isint. What kinda times are they supposed to run for a starting price of$91k?

That's a good question...i'm not sure. There may be some way that i don't know of but i know it's Ford's intention to keep them off the street. I think it's pretty silly since for $90k you could pretty much build one yourself, or at least build another Mustang that's just as fast.

Any doubt to the validity of these cars? Brand new, turn key, fast as hell, built to take the pounding, and legal to go class racing.
