looking for a converter for a c6 in a 4x4 pick up. i would like to have one with 2500-2800 stall. dont know anything about converters but this is my work truck that i haul cars with so is there a better one for that any input would be great :bigthumb

That is a lot of stall for towing. It is my understanding you want the biggest inch, lowest stall possible while towing to keep the heat down as much as possible.

as of now the truck has a non roller 306 with a set of ported e7 heads with unknown cam a stealth intake, longtube headers and a edelbrock carb and its kinda slugish untill about 2800 rpms then it pulls like a champ. it also has 3.55 gears any one with any ideas

I can build you a high stall unit using your core to get close to that stall fairly inexpensively. I may have a 10 inch unit from someone else here that I could refurbish or I can always build you a brand new one to whatever specs you like.

well givin what 84stang said it makes sence about the heat and i dont want to toast my tranny i dont know what i should do

You don't want the lowest stall on a 302 base, 351 were low stall and so were 300 I6 and 460, 302 had the medium stall.
