Well this is set to be my winter project car, but I have came across a deal on another SSP. So as long as that one is on the market and I have not started on this one it will be for sale.

1988 Mustang LX that I bought from the second owner who owned it since 1999. The car sits with approx. 190k miles. Car is mostly original only changes were Flowmasters, pullies, K&N Filter Charger, and a 3 core radiator. A new water pump was put on at time of the radiator upgrade. Seat had new foam put in them and new seat covers...although they are a little faded.

I drove this car back from Louisville, KY in November and it ran like a champ. Car has been in my garage since.

Body: Cervini Ram Air bolt on hood. Shock towers are solid without even a spot of surface rust. Hatch has rust in the usual areas but I will include a rust free hatch in the sale. Has the usual dents, digs, and paint chips for a car this age.

Interior is in nice shape and I have not touched it yet. I am sure with some cleaning it will look very nice.

Mechanics: All original other than listed above. Even has the original 1988 spark plug wires. Transmission shifts fine other than you have to put it in 5th before going into reverse. Car has been this was since 1999 or the last 60k miles so I would say it is not an issue needing dealt with anytime soon. New clutch 6k miles ago and a new starter was installed 2 years ago.

Things it will need: Brakes need checked and I would recommend all new fluid. The current fluid is dark and the pedal almost goes to the floor.
New shocks and struts...still has the original ones and rides like a boat. (I have new KYB struts and shocks I will sell for the price I paid for.) Car had new heatercore put in a couple years ago. However on my drive home I never could get the heat to blow more than luke warm. The A/C is fully intact but the previous owner stated it does cool the car but he thought it needed a recharge.

Price for the car as is with the rust free hatch is $2900 FIRM and No trades.

Here is a couple pictures from when I brought her home. http://s461.photobucket.com/albums/qq336/cntlose92/1988%20Mustang%20LX/

Car will come with a clean and clear IN title in the former owners name. I did not get it inspected before the first snow fall, and I try to never drive these cars after the first salting of the roads.
Serious buyers please PM or call/text me at 937-829-1595.

So you say this beast runs? Can it be daily driven? :D

I would figure out the heat issue if you want to drive it in winter and check the brakes first. But I had zero issues with it from Louisville to my house...which was a 2 hour drive.

Seen this one in person, for the money it's a damn good project car to start with.

Good luck with the sale man, wish you luck either way you go.

Thanks everyone....

It would be a good daily driver after having the brakes and heater looked over. My original intention was to build a nice spring/summer DD for me. As far as the hood I was going to replace it...you can pick them up all day for $20...but the wife said she liked so it was staying for the time.

Car I am wanting is only on ebay a few days so I am not sure how much longer this car will be for sale...incase anyone is on the bubble.

I am leaning more towards this now. I found out a buddy of mine use to own the SSP I am looking at, and the current seller has left some info out. So unless he comes down on his price I will be keeping this one.

Still for sale. I have found another SSP in Georgia that I will be buying in the next couple weeks. I am going to try and repaint the molding on this car over the weekend and update the pictures. Price will remain the same at $2900 firm as is otherwise.
