Auto Trannys

He guys im looking at going to a auto tranny for my coupe..... Later on this year i will be having a motor built and going to a turbo setup and looking at about 600 rwhp.. It will see the track about 20% of the time, so it will be mainly a street car....
I know alot will say stay with a 5 speed but id rather not.. Ive been talking with Alan and hes been a great help but im looking for other options and suggestions..
So i looking suggestions on autos that will be reliable and can take a beaten when its needed... Thanks

I don't get the thm400 thing, expensive because you have to buy an aftermarket bell and unless you put a ton of money in them internally they are crap. Done right they will take it, but at this level a c6 is just a little heavier and stock will handle what he is doing.
For a street car it is hard to beat a 4r70w. His power level a c4 will handle fine.

agreed, a good c4 or 4R will live a happy life at 5-600 hp in the hands of a decent builder

i tell u what i would go with a c4 they are great trannies when built right.
