Not a crawler but its a vintage RC10 from the 80's I just finished up. All parts are 20+ years old.

Nice looking rig Walter. We'll have to hook up sometime. I havn't touched mine in a couple months now, I'll have to charge the battery and get it back out soon. My brother is talking about designing a building a custom tube buggy in addition to his current truck and drivermod(ian) just got a truck for his son as well. We should have several guys that can get together for a little rock bashing. There is a really cool place down here by me to go crawling you'll have to come down when it warms up a bit.

I have 5-6 now that local oval closed but plan on keeping the three I race. The two incomplete ones I have are old wide chassis's.
Need any old chargers????

I had a few of these awhile ago and got out of it. I had a Traxxas 4-Tec nitro that would flat out get it. They claimed 70 plus MPH. The fastest I ever got it was 67 MPH over at Mobilcomm. Back when I worked there we did mobile installs amongst over stuff for the local and county police departments. So we had one of the officers the one day clocking a few of these in the back lot. I just got out of it because it started to get way to expensive. Kinda like these damn mustangs do. Is that nitro or electric?

That is bad ass.
Makes me want to get my old TL01 Tamiya car out and actually repair the junked trans in my nitro AWD 1/10 buggy lol. Traded my Cen CT5 for a set of tires for the sierra a few months ago. that thing was mean.

Had a few of these.
But after smacking a wall at about 50 and having the car come apart like an F1 car a couple times it got pricey. So I sold all my crap.

Yeah but these trucks only go like 2mph. It's about crawling. Not ramping. Lol

I bought my son, Danny, an Axial AX-10 RTR ( http://www.axialracing.com/ftp/ax10rtr/ )this fall. We just put the 27 turn motor and 21 tooth pinion gear back in for some high speed fun in the snow:cool1: I run a 60 turn with a 14 tooth pinion for crawling. These things are a blast.

Are the crawlers prone to breaking anything? I had an RC10GT and i was always breaking stuff on it.

They are surprisingly durable. I've rolled it down a 30 ft "cliff" without breaking anything. My son beats the heck out of it and hasn't had to replace anything yet. The previous owner had already replaced the steering linkage and lower control arms with metal components so I'm not sure if those would be prone to breakage. Look for used ones. I found mine on Craigslist and got about $500 worth of stuff for $225.

driveshafts will twist if you have it geared down enough and get it bound.
