Right now it's at a friend's getting a full paint job.Engine bay, under coat, jams, getting all the rust fixed as well and getting some parts under the hood powder coated. I'll have before and after pics...

Just some parts I've already powder coated for under the hood...they are in Bonded Black Chrome, they aren't very good pics due to lighting.

Geez it looked pretty nice already.
By the way, if you have it, put the stock breather back on...it flows WAY better than the tiny one you have on there now.

There were some rust issues in the engine bay, not bad but wanted to get it taken care of, and some rust on the deck lid and around some areas like the sunroof and the lower part of the doors inside and out. Not bad rust just enough to irritate me:lol:
I do have the stock breather but when I had it on it was choking it, so I was told. I'll probably put it back on after I get it cleaned up and powder coated. Have to get the new inlets for it though.

I think I would have stayed with the white personally. I love a clean white car.

I dynoed my 347 with my stock breather on it...that should tell you something about how well they flow.

The Oxford white kinda grew on me but I couldn't stand the gray, just didn't look right to me. I'll admit, the white is easier to keep clean, I could let it go a couple of weeks without washing it and it still looked good, but I've always liked black :bigthumb

When the car gets finished he'll be putting back on my Holley DP and all I'll need to do is get my old stock breather cleaned up and put back on, I did notice a difference when I went this route, meaning...less HP compared to what it was like the other way.

The problem with the stock breather is that the lid sits so close to the carb...but it's only a problem on big nasty built engines. That breather was designed for and pirated off the old 460 equipped sedans of the 60s...so it can breath. If you had a really nasty engine, the best thing you could do is get a 4-5 inch tall filter and sandwich it in between the lid and the base and leave the base and fender tubes in the stock setup....that's true duel cold air induction.
