I need to repalce the rack on my GT. I've been looking at these Flaming River racks, to convert it to manual. Would I just have to buy the rack, or is there a whole slew of parts needed to make it work? I've read where you have to have the shaft and all to make it work. I was just looking to upgrade the steering a lil and free up a few more ponies. Also, if anyone has one, how do they drive? Steer freely? Any info would be great, thanks in advance...

The minimum you'll need is the rack and the shaft. You should be able to use you stock tie rods. I just bought a FR1503. After sitting in a car with a FR rack that was meant NOT to have PS, it wasn't hardly even noticeable.

Are they really? Ugh.... So i'm guessing an MM bump steer kit will not work on the FR rack??

My MM bumpsteer kit worked fine on my FR rack just now and I know the MM kit works on the stock rack.

Most companies sell a manual rack, and a power rack bumpsteer kit. You might have already had one for manual?
