I seen a nasty little race yesterday when a silver ws-6 was toying with a blue turbo notch by milford,, I guess the ws-6 had no idea that the notch was going too pull the left wheel off of the ground off a launch. They were reaving up on each other jumping up more and more and then the big hit,, the mustang was boosting her up and she was air born on the left wheel the ws-6 never had a fuckin chance so who ever has a blue coupe with skinny's on her and meats on the back nice kill on the street.

^^^how do you know?
ive never seen a car hook well enough on the street to lift a tire. seems improbable.im guessing thats what dsmawd350 was getting at. it takes good traction to yank the wheels, doesnt seem likely that a car would hook that well on an prepped surface

Now I'll tell yah that th little blue coupe got the left wheel off of the ground about 4 too 5 inch's and it was a white guy driving it.I watched these too bangin out on the highway and there was not even a chance for the firebird too even get near the notch. All you heard was shhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh from the turbo and poooooofffff he was gone son.

notice those are prepped surfaces at well used racing spots "on the street''? not to mention they probably just did a big healthy burnout in VHT or Pimp Juice.
think they could pull up a random traffic light and just pull the wheels? unprepped, no burnout, no vht etc

I was once riding passenger in a street race outside of Hillsboro when a buddy was racing an old junk looking 80's firebird when I counted down it yanked the left front wheel about a foot off the ground and carried it. I think it could've happened.

First off, not saying I believe this guy or not. But I know my brother had an 84' 4cyl mustang that was converted to a V8 with a built motor. It would pull wheelies on a launch on the street. I think it was more the suspension that was on it then the actual power. But I have seen it so it is possible. The last time my brother launched the car the driver's seat when through the floorboard and we then cut the car up and junked it.

exactly it's to cold out ,on a street thats been used frequent for racing prepped i could see it in the summer ,but i call it bullshit on rt28 in 50 degree weather not happening ,but a mustang whippin up on a trans am i believe:D
Lol... I cant even get traction on my stupid clown car. (miata) lol Mr. excopcar,,,, I call bs on the cold roads. I am sure it can be done in summer but not a normal non prepped daily used road.

idk, built motor with a lot of aluminum, a car with suspension bult for it, seems pretty easy to pull A SINGLE WHEEL... nobody said it laid the bumper down

My 75 Mustang V8 could get both front wheels off the ground on stock motor.
bad shocks in the front, air shocks in the rear, just get the rhythm right and start bouncing.
Poor C4 didn't stand a chance :)
