I have another one between Scott and I uploading now. I filmed it with a Gopro Hero mounted to the hood. If you are faster than me, I am sure as hell leaving first!!
Camaro ran a 13.95, Stang 13.20

I hardly handed Charlie his ass...but if you want to bust his balls a little that's OK. Cool videos Charlie, thanks for asking me to be in them. I had a great time yesterday, we'll do some rematches next year. If I know Charlie, he'll have a little more under the hood next year to make sure it goes the other way. For those who haven't seen it in person it is one badass LS1. I just hope we can do better than 13's next year.........:)

My 2 worst runs of the day were against Scott. Tell Paul to give you the Intimidator glasses!
Scott, that Stang is nasty, and if I didn't leave early on ya, the video would have been a red dot in the distance.

WTF are the Intimidator glasses? Those things he was wearing? If so thats pretty funny.

I gave him a pair of Gargoyle Intimidator glasses like Dale Earnhardt Sr. used to wear. They looked killer with the open face helmet.

Definately needs a course in racer etiquette. Inside lane runs considerably faster and outside lane races him to the return road, the racing was over, 10mph on the return road, people could be present., Not to mention staging.
Does appear to be a good running LS1 however.

Yeah it must be an optional rule that only applies to those who are considerate.

If it takes hurting your feelings to make you be considerate of the rules at a race track that are there for safety, I can deal with it. 10mph is a hard rule to follow, but you need to at least make an effort. If I were the track owner you'd have been out. I figure it liek this on the return road, if you wonder if you may be going to fast, you are!
I have made a bunch of passes and never seen anyone race to the return road, most people are trying to get stopped without buring up their brakes.

Sorry my consideration for people who knowingly break the rules is little to none, ask my buddies girlfriend when she came crying to me about all the trouble she got in for a dui. I would however be very sympathetic to the family of the person who got run over/killed, or otherwise injured by someone who knowingly broke the rules only because they thought they were better than the rules and/or the rules didn't apply to them.

Allright, Some of the "speed" you are perceiving is due to the camera being mounted low on the car. Drive your car down the street in your normal driving position, now driving the same speed, open your door, stick your face down by the pavement. Did it seem like you were traveling at a greater speed upright, or with your face next to the ground?

I can see the camera could decieve things, I was making a subtle point that you just didn't want to accept. Racing itself is dangerous enough, rules no matter if we like them or not are generally there for everyones safety. Disregarding them is disrespect to the owner of the track and it's mangement. It doesn't affect me one bit.

While we are on this subject, tell the owner of a white Taurus with a dirty dog sticker on the back window to signal when they are weaving in and out of traffic.
