6 speed, lemans blue ........... track times coming soon :D

yes it does ... it came with a corsa exhaust as well ... has aftermarket corvette rims and new michelin run flats ... the tint was already done, really not much left for me to do ...

i shopped around for a few months looking at the newer mustangs and even the 03-04 cobras ... once i drove this car, i was sold ...

ls2 ... doesnt have the z51 handling package ... i think the previous owner spent a few bucks on some upgrades though ... i dont plan on modding it up, but i will run the car a few times ... like this saturday :bigthumb

djom1cincy ~ you couldnt have said it any better ... those were the first words out of my mouth when people ask how fast it is ... mustangs have an all out torquey raw horsepower pull to them, these have a smooth pull to them but your at 120 before you know it ...

you can go 0-60 in 1st gear ... the 3.15 rear gear has a lot to do with that ... i may even have the 2.56, i need to find out ...

took the vette to edgewater today ... best mph - 112.57, best et 13.14 ... me and shannon must have put 10+ passes on it ... the 6 speed manual is screaming for some drag radials ... we couldnt launch (2.20 60's) and couldnt even bang 2nd gear, had to pedal it ... never even had to leave 3rd gear ... i think we have a 115+ mph stocker on our hands ...

congrats to dale in his "bone stock" 2011 5.0 ... he got me on et (12.8x), but not on mph (111) ... i think the automatic was a lot more forgiving on the street tires ... i think he snuck a 3.73 or 4.10 in there, those shifts were coming awfully quick :D good job dale :bigthumb

over on the corvette forums, there are dozens of stock ls2 c6 vettes in the 12.4x at 114mph range ... these guys are launching 1.8x-1.9x 60 ft times on run flats ... they are running at atco, norwalk and other big time tracks ... we have edgewater and tri state :)

yep, i went back and revisited your thread ... your ls3 makes like 30 more hp ... i may do exactly what you did, buy the rear z06 fenders and wheels ... what a difference it makes ...

what cam did you use and how steetable was the car? ... i read that the stock cam kills top end power and needs to go ...

you gotta remember, the first is a 4.17, thats a lotta gear,

mine has 3.55's now, and my first gear with 3.55's turns more rpm than brandons car with 5.13's
