Ok i got a friend that has a mid 70's 351 that he said he would give me in return for all the help i've given him on his house. I been thinking that with the free factor on the motor to have it stroked out to a 408 with all the goodies to go along with it. Just curious though what kind of numbers would i see and would it be really worth it.

Depends on your heads, cam, and chassis but in a decent car with good parts it can go 9's NA I know several people with them

I would try and find out what year block it is exactly. 69-74 blocks are the blocks to have. If it's a 70's block it's going to say D then either 1-9. That number after D is the year it was made.

That would be pretty sweet............ but you've got a nice motor already just supercharge the thing and be done with it.........

Don't supercharge it. Use a turbo.

If i decide to go through the builld my car is a 85 so keeping with the last year of a carb i'd stick to that

Blow through turbo set up. For the win......

I will be going this route in a couple years.
