my lil 2.3 turbo gt

so im building a new engine for my 84 gt 2.3 turbo,the car went 12.60s with a untouched stock engine,the car now has a tremec tko600,with a 157 tooth aluminum flywheel,aluminum block/tranny adapter,aluminum drive shaft,8.8 with 33 spline moser axles,moser spool,389 gear,fully adjustable upper and lower control arms,upper and lower battle boxes,50/50 shock,full aje tubular front end,with 90/10 struts and coil overs,manual rack,

here is the new engine,it has a custom ported and polished head,milled .125,big valve conversion,custom ground solid flatt tappet cam,boport header, prescision 6465 billet wheel turbo,ported and knife edged lower,gutted and rotated upper,65 mm t.body,75 lb injectors.fabricated valve cover,kevko oil pan,need hp round tooth adjustable timing setup,solid motor mounts,i bought the new accel dfi thruster to run the lil beast

thanks,i hope to build a 3.0 liter soon and maybe a arca head but i wana run some 10.50 mwith this combo wich should be no problem,huber ran 9.99 on less but im running a tko600 and he was running an auto,so ill be happy with a 10.50 4 banger,wow i sound like a import ricer,lol

the volvo head converion is cool,i just prefer to make the power using a ford head,i checked into the conversion figured the head i have will do me just fine

Very cool build. I am in the process of researching my next build and the one that is on top is a 2.3 turbo coupe build... Great work so far! I am very impressed with the numbers the lil 2.3's can push out. There aren't many 'built' out there!

yeah,ive done alot of v8 builds and made lots of power with them,i wanted something different this time.started with a good low mile southern car,core supprot is a lil bent,i bought a new core support and smoothed aprons to make the engine compartment look nice

theres alot better ways togo than megasquirt,alot of tuners dont like the format,depending on how much you want to spend and if you want to make adjustments yourself i would suggest looking at some other stand alones.

Stingers is supposed to have none of the bugs that wilson's got.

With stingers it is 100% plug and play. No splicing harnesses just plug and run. You can also make all the changes that you need to with it as well. Also has an autotune feature.

Yes the 4bangers are fun I went 11.45 at 116 last year with a big valve head gutted intakes and a Sc50 . I have a slightly bigger set up this year ready and for warm weather to tear something up . just about got it ready to turn over under its own power,had to do some touch up on body parts,just got them all done,ordered a new pro outlaw strutted wing so ill have to fill all the wing holes in,put new black billet specialties comp 5 wheels on it,new strange front and rear brakes with black calipers,got the dash all in,the accel dfi all mounted,still have to mout the dfi nos controller and then do a simple 6 point cage

going to the track tonite,on boost only,no nos or meth yet,made good power on dyno,thanks again adam at S&M motorsports,done a great job again on our tunes,car has around 1200 street miles on it now,drive and runs great,works extremely well on the street,prolly going to change cam to a solid roller and bigger power curve,didnt spin the rpms the engine was built for,car is for sale or trade,car will be a solid low 10 second ride on spray and get 31 miles to a gallon of race fuel,what else can u ask for
