Is there any reason the cog pulleys would be bad for the street. Im mean im a little to far in the build to worry about it but i thought i had read some where it wasnt good.

I drove my 50mm Cog Drive F1R on the street all the time, with a 5-speed!

There may be a learning curve with the cogs, and at $120 a belt, it could get expensive.

They say that having to pedal the car because of wheel spin will rip teeth off the belt!

Mine didn't show any wear after about a year.

They do say that... but I had to pedal the crap out of my F1R car (driving on the street with a five speed on radials) and never had any problems.

I shredded 2 of the 30/35mm cogs at the track, then put an 8 rib back on.
