I am looking for the following parts for a 97 4.6 NPI Romeo engine before I go out and buy them new:

PS Head Gasket
10 hew head bolts
Front timing cover

Let me know if/what you got. Thanks!

If you are looking for the factory head bolts are not resusalbe. They are torque to yield bolts, use them once and throw them away.

Yeah, seems that way for just about all cars these days. It seems like such a waste.

But yes, they have to be a new set. I just would rather buy 10 instead of 20. :).

well there are some people that say you can reuse the factory head bolts. Personally I would rather buy new and not have to take it apart again to replace a blown head gasket.

Agreed. I am not fighting the exhaust manifolds again. If I was smart, I would just replace the entire motor with one from a j/y.

Im crossing my fingers the 0 compression on #4 was from either the exhaust valve, or a blown HG and not the rings.

yeah I don't think I would ever change the heads in the car again. I think it would be easier to replace the engine than the heads. When we did the PI swap, long tubes, and clutch on my car the only thing left to unbolt from the engine was the motor mounts.
