I just bought a 89 f150 4x4 straight six. has a brand new fuel pump ran great now i have to hold on the gas to keep it runnig or it dies. any suggestions would be greatly appreciated thank you.

Does this have 2 gas tanks? Some of those trucks have 3 fuel pumps. 1 per tank and 1 mounted on the frame rail. Put a pressure gauge on your schrader valve and go from there. you can spend alot of money hanging parts when you dont need to.:bigthumb
