Thanks man, funny as it sounds i really like that little car. If i had the space and funds i would be all over doing a turbo engine swap on it.

I was wondering if you had experience with brake setups on these cars....I am also interested in rack and pinion steering. I have a 68 Cougar with 4 wheel drums. Hoping to go with discs all around, front minimum. Have a 97 GT front k-member, rack, brakes everything.....wondering if I can make it work. I have seen Mustang II front clips with rack and pinion that delete the engine bay shock towers. I would love to do the same, but don't have the budget to do so.

I have seen kits to make SN95 brakes work on the front....any knowledge on these? As far as I can tell, the cheapest route but maintain stock steering.

I have SN95 brakes if I go that route. I have found that a Fox and SN-95 rack fit the Mustang II crossmember on my 55 F100, for what that's worth. Can I buy a cross member and weld whatever suspension I want to it?

Need to do something soon as the brakes went to the floor tonight, but need to figure out what direction I am going to go. I want to be able to run newer 17x8bullitt wheels and right now they run into the steering linkage and don't allow me seat them on the drum face. Any help or insight would be much appreciated.

12" rims rule!! It was nice to meet you. Thanks for the rtv sealant. It fixed that burnt spark plug wire and ran great home.

Cool i was meaning to ask you about that. Im glad it worked out for ya. You may wanna try pulling the plug wires off and squeezing the plugs shut a little on the inside where the metal clip plugs onto the spark plug..that might help to keep them tight so they dont roll over on the header again. Either that or go to cincy speed and get some plug wire socks.

Well when you get the Mustang back you could always pack the Festive in the trunk/hatch for a spare!!
