Water pump went out on my 02 GT any suggestions on a new kind? Brand? and if anyone has ever changed them out before?

I would suggest getting a Motorcraft replacement. There is no need to get anything other than the OE part. It should be a pretty easy job to replace it.

Yeah I was always wanting to get the miezure electric water pump for mine. But from all the research that I have done, fords water pump is actually decent. I may have an extra if your interested.

josh do a stock motorcraft replacement and nothing else. you can't beat it. and its a pretty easy swap too

I have a factory water pump and pulley if you need it.

I use the OEM new units only, easiest water pump to change ever!

I prob will go with a Motorcraft one. but i have under drive pulleys. would it be better to go with a stock one or keep the under drive?

I'd keep the under drives the pulley just unbolts.
