wrong section again i know but i needthem tonight. i need the top 2 bolts for a 5.0 the very top of the cover behind the water pump. Stangman might have them but i wont know till 6. If you have them lemme know i can pick them up this evening.

Check the "HELP" rack @ smyth or autozone. They ussally have water pump and timing cover bolts for late models.

Just go to ACE or any other hardware and pick some up. They are nothing fancy, just some 3/8 coarse thred( I think), probably 3/4 inch long.

5/16" coarse thread bolts 3/4" long or so. Nothing special. The only special ones are the ones with the 5/8" head on them and the stud. Those are getting very hard to find.

I broke mine off putting a water pump on my money pitt/LX. I thought I was stuck then Bam right on the "help" shelf @ smyth. They have a few odd fasteners like that. I was ready to break out the threaded rod or reach for the welder. The next 2 hours were spent extracting the old ones in the block reaching thru the timing cover:(.
