carson had 1 good year (2005), hes prob the most over-rated quarterback ever ... the problem is, who do you replace him with? ... half the teams in the league need a good quarterback, so what do you do? ... i guess run benson more...............

steelers will win the afc north ... they play defense, good special teams and can run the ball ... we may finish last because cleveland isnt that damn bad ...

Browns arent looking to bad this year. They can only get better though! Bengals just piss me off the more I watch them anymore. Oh well. Maybe they will pick up a new quarterback if Palmer keeps looking like shit!

I can't say that EVERYTHING can be blamed on Carson for this loss. If TO would have not gotten that push off call the play before the interception then things may have turned out much differently. For whatever reason Carson hasn't been the same since blowing his knee out. I don't know if he's still afraid of getting hit again and can't focus on what is going on down the field, or if somehow they damaged his eyes during his knee repair!

What is almost as bad as the interceptions were the off sides calls and the inconsistencies of the Defense. The Bengals are far and above the leader in procedure penalties. Look at the way the defense has performed. Week one against the Pat's they couldn't put pressure on the passing game. Week two vs the Ravens the defense WAS the game. Week 3 the defense was better than week one but worse than week 2. Week 4 was a repeat of week 3 and finally the defense let way too many deep passes go for completions.

There is a LOT wrong with the Bengals right now and Carson is just a big part of a much larger overall picture. The only positive is that it looks like Benson still is capable of 100+yard games and carrying the offense.

OH yeah and that catch by Spurlock to setup the fieldgoal at the end of the game was not a catch. Regardless of whether he had control of the ball, his right toe came off the fiend before he caught the ball and he didn't get it back down.

i agree 100% his feet were one on top of each other when he caught the ball. i don't know how they gave that to him

+2 besides the fact that the ball moved when he hit the ground thus not showing "control". Kicker probably would have made it anyway from the 32. That last int came off Chad's hands so I don't see how you blame Palmer for that one. Bob Bratkowski is the dumbest son of a bitch alive as I've been saying for years. Last week run, run, run into a 8 man front and this week pass, pass, pass into a cover 2. Any high school coach could figure that one out.

BTW, defense gave up one drive the whole game. The other 17 pts were setup by the offense.
