Im actually looking for some advice/tips on getting started in doing pinstiping, mostly for myself but possibly to make some side cash. If anyone does it and wouldnt mind schooling me give me a pm. I have a '52 Schwinn that needs some stuff done.

Any relation to Tommy or Tim Shaw?
Oh and if he's that good, he's probably a bit out of my price range especially for my little Schwinn

Josh Shaw does killa work. He painted the boats that were in Cavalcade (Outlaw & Chaos), the Rat Fink on the back of C. Simons Pro 5.0 Cougar, Ryan Pope's '55 & '56 Shoe Box Gasser's, etc...

I ended up just doing what i could on my own...i figure with this being a ratty bike that's gonna get rode both by me and my 7 year old son, and is gonna get thrown on a bike rack with 2 other bikes and scratched up, there's no sense in spending money on serious work.

I was trying for a font like you'd see on an old horror movie poster..i think it turned out pretty good considering i was using thick ass model paint and a cheap Testers brush.
