Well, bike got the better of me this morning. slid out doing 30mph and I broke the radius and ulna bones in my left arm. I also have road rash on my hip and right shin. Bike can be repaired just messed up the palstics,broke the bars ,shifter,footpeg and a tab off the swingarm.
Damp roads,cold tires and me a little bit throttle happy is the main culprit. I was wearing my gear so it could have been worse. As it looks right now Im probably going to need surgery to repair it right.

Damn Bo , That sucks. Glad your alright. could of been a lot worse. Bike can be fixed , just lower it and stretch it like scotts 1000 , and sell it , That bike would do a good number im sure.

Been there bud, dont rush the recovery! Also, I did the same thing, I modded the hell out of my 1k after I hit a tractor with it. It got was better after the wreck than before it happened by far. What kinda bike was it?

2005 ZX10R, it was nice.lol I agree it will be even better when repaired.

Glad you are Ok guy. Let me know if I can help with anything. I used alot of Mejuirers scratch out on my bike when I slid it in the grass. It worked great.

Yeah it sucks pretty bad. Could not sleep, wound up on the couch with arm all propped up. Doc appointment at 8:45 so I hoping for just a cast and cutting me up.

Well it looks like I get some titanium upgrades for the arm. Plates and screws. I go under the knife at 2 tomorrow, wish me luck.

See if they can give you some cool carbon fiber bits while they're at it.

Just saw this. Glad it wasn't any worse than what it sounds like. Hopefully you will be back to normal in no-time. Hang in and take it easy. The pain meds should make at least a few days of recovery go smoothly!

Well right now I have viconin 500mg and take 2 as prescribed and they arent doing anything.lol

See if they can give you some cool carbon fiber bits while they're at it.

This time I got 7 screws and 1 plate, Im pretty screwed up from the meds. They did a nerve block and said arm would be numb for up to 36 hours.
