my timing cover gasket blew again. im going to see if i put a diff cover on it that chages anything... this is the 3rd one not counting the one i fucked up would like to get it tomorrow so i can get it almost done tomorrow evening would like to make it to the track friday night

im thinking the cover is warped. one time was my fault i wrinkled the gasket when i put it on. the other 2 i have no idea. im hoping this new cover fixes it. if not i have no idea.

did you put any pipe dope on the bolts/studs that go into the water jackets?

i havent touched it. i talked to ted today. i parked it as soon as i noticed it.
