the real funny part is he is still on the stock tune with it running 9.20s.... He is aiming for 8s on the stock tune

Very cool indeed. Thats my good friend Magnuson piloting that hot rod. As jasck90gt stated. The tune hasn't even been touched.

Mark has been giving me the scoop ever since the owner took delivery of the car. I can tell you that Mark is very appreciative to be racing in a piece of Ford history.

Yeah Mark is out of Chicago isnt he? I know the car came from Victor Ford.....I went to the big Ford show there and it was just totally badass,,,,,

So, the engine is essentially a GT500 engine or is it different? Any idea what they weigh?

Its the Alum block with the GT super car cams, billet rods, 4.0L Whipple on it. The cars weighs 3550 with me in it. We have been 9.12@154.24 still working on the clutch and the suspention.

That's awesome, so is that "stock" or did you guys swap the cams and Whipple on? What's the redline/launch/shift RPM? Sounds nasty.

The way you see it is the way it came from Ford with the 4.0L whipple, Liberty 5 spd and no its not a clutchless trans. It goes threw the lights at 7,600 rpm.
