If I can find a set of 16" slicks/wheels I will be there soon. 15's need a bunch of grinding on the banjo bolt and tie rod end from the IRS. Don't wanna really mess with any of that. I will be happy with just an 11.8X pass.

yea pulled in got in line right off the highway ran a 13.9 at 103 2.18 60 foot, let it cool off for an hour ran again hit second and something made a funny noise...

no it went in. i remember it getting a little side ways. it hooked in first when i hit second it spun for a second after i heard the noise i burried it again. and it kept going, im not a horrible driver i never have and prob never will pound gears, with that tranny at least i find my gears in a somewhat timely fashion

i was down there. i made one drag radial pass 12.8 124.5 and then one slick pass and threw the alternator belt at about the 1/8th so i packed up and went home .

no since in trying to break shit.... I don't power shift. The car needs to be tuned, not going to run what it's capable of. So no since in really driving the balls of it.

the main reason is that there is still some time left in the year to drive it... i have no problem pulling the tranny and rebuilding it over winter but there is some prime time to have it out. and im not missing the cruise in cause my tranny is busted:lol: trust me if i had the money i would have a hatch that i could make a sweet street strip car out of i would, i really want to build an iron headed 302 and spray the hell out of!

last night actually was the first time that car has like felt like a car that belonged on the track... the more i think about it, it makes me wanna run it right now haha if the tranny doesnt act wierd at all this week ill just get the damn thing tuned and make close to 300 at the wheels like it should. and run it right at the end of the season and go for broke. I dont need second gear on the dyno:lol:

What was your mph in the 1/8? That's some high mph for a 12.8!

that pass was only 90.8mph. i have been 100.1 mph in the 1/8 :) it has a high 10 in it with a solid pass. but the trans is killing me.
