I was wondering if putting 302 pistons in a windsor would bump up the compression?

You can't just throw them in, piston height is wrong. You can buy a 393 stroker crank (3.85" stroke), use some 351 rods and then use the 302 pistons. I have no idea what your compression would be though. Here's an example.

Here's another.

Good to know. Never seen anyone ask before so we werent sure. I thought it had something to do with the piston height... crappy part is... we have the parts to build a really nice 351... decent cast iron heads, big cam, good intake, and good carb... just that bottom end is gonna hurt us on the compression. It'll be a pig. Were gonna mill the heads and hope for the best for now i guess.
