Have you received your 2.2 updates on your phone yet? I've received a text saying it had been sent but no update. Thursday morning I receive a email saying the same thing and still no update. Wondering if I need to stop by VZW or just wait.

I don't understand then. I've tried to manually install it but my phone says its up to date with 2.1 I might stop by VZW on my way home.

probably have to find out from verizon then. I updated my Evo like a month after getting it. there should be a way to download it from the interwebz and put it directly to the phone.

I stop by the VZW store. They informed me I will get it when its sent out. They said they are sending them out in blocks so they don't overload the system.

Mine poped up with a message on the phone that said restart to upgrade. Looks more crisp now, and the text format is a lot better.
Wifes phone poped up the day before mine. Maybe it has something to do with when you phobe was made or activated?

Mine downloaded a couple weeks back, yet my gf's hasn't updated yet? I don't like the update only because there are several programs now that start up again and again after being killed, which has really hindered my battery. I used to be able to get a whole day out of a charge, but no more.

So Menu>Settings>System Updates>HTC software update doesn't come up with anything? That's where it came up when my Evo got it last month or whenever it was.

Mine lasts much longer without the task killers. Whenever I use them, it drains faster, and just doesn't seem to run nearly as smoothly.

I just got to work or I would check it out. The store said there was no place on the web to download. Rat bastards.
