Just got a new puppy few weeks ago and looking to fence in my backyard. I want to do somthing about 6 ft tall and solid wood with no gaps as I also have a small dog that I dont want to be able to get through it. anybody do fences on the side or as a full time job?

Only problem is it does not keep people out.
They are great if you don't live in a neighborhood.

My biggest reason for a fence is to keep people out. Yes my dogs are friendly and I am not too concerned with them hurting anyone under normal circumstances. But when the neighbor kid comes over and starts whacking the dog in the face with a stick we have a different scenario.

My sister had lowes put up a fence in her yard. I believe they do free estimates.
