Im with you... I think there are maybe 4 games that are a given with 2 of them being the Browns. The rest are all up in the air. Lets see if they can pull a season out of their ass!

Even though they lost, I didn't think they looked all that bad. And the first week is always full of strange games. Look at Detroit almost winning, Indy losing, and Mike Vick almost bringing the Eagles back in the 4th quarter.

Realist too but I think that's a couple games heavy on the win side. I think they will be lucky to go .500 this year. Palmer is the weak link.

I love the bengals but cincy is depressing in baseball and pro football. Cincy is a week link. Just dont have the funds to be consistant. Cincy.

Ok, the defense sucked hard and the line didn't do much to help against the Pat's run defense, but look at the passing game. When was the last time the Bengals threw for nearly 350? I think that was a very positive sign.

What surprised me more than the Bengals struggles was how good the Pats looked. Their defense is flat out fast this year. They don't look like a team full of veterans in the twilight of greatness. They looked fast, strong and well coached.

If the Bengals D could have played like the 2nd half in the 1st half, nobody would be screaming "Bungles" this morning. This game will end up being not much more than a bump in the road and another 10 to 12 wins this season is what I am still hoping for.
