wow man sorry to hear this!
i just home for their we were at conley bottom all weekend
it was crazy this weekend to say the least.
their was a few times we were 10 ft out of the water talk about a hard landing
we were in the party cove yesterday around 5pm when the storm came through
and it was blowing house boats into smaller boats and smashing them into the banks
thanks god it only lasted 10 mins or so

Thanks everyone. For whatever reason, Im fine. No broken Pelvis, no seperated Shoulder, no punctured lung, no broken ribs, no blown out pupil, no broke wrist, no fractured spine...im absofuckinglutely fine. I was fourtunate enough to rem...ain in the fucking boat. I got to see the water rush towards me at over 95 mph as the boat was completely on its side and leaning more towards going all the way over. I got to think of my family as I knew this fucking boat was going to come crashing ontop of me and crush me between it and the water. I knew I would never see my girls again and I hated the fact the some people would say I died doing what I loved doing. I was hanging on for dear life not knowing whether to let go or hang on. Nothing prepares one to face death. It comes in a split second and I pray noone ever sees it coming. i think I would rather have been in the water with everyone else rather than staying in the fucking boat alone. Oh and then, Im fucking fine, alive and can see all 4 of them hundreds of yards away and the Fucking boat wont start! What The Fuck you piece of shit fucking boat!!! Now what? Are they dead, alive, breathing unconscious?? WTF>!>! I cant get to them. You fucking boat. What kind of cruel shit is this? I escaped death but now I have to watch as others die. I finally see another boat and I start jumping up and down on the boat trying to get their attention. Im screaming, jumping up and down and holding up 4 fingers, Im screaming four, four guys in the water! Im frantically pointing in the direction of my father in law, uncle and two friends. Oh and it is I who wanted Darrell to come out and enjoy the Poker Run. I even laughed as I told him to hang on when we first started. His first Poker Run and I have no idea if he is alive or dead. What a great friend am i....

Craig, you can't beat yourself up over it. Things happen. Atleast everyone is alive and gonna recover.Your a straight up guy! Be thankful for being alive brother. God works in mysterious ways sometimes. Glad your ok and Joyce and I will be praying for all involved speedy recovery.

Rick, Wendell, Darrell should recover. We drove down to Knoxville yesterday and saw Darrell. His surgery went well and we had him laughing.
Rick should be released.
Wendell is at his cabin at Cumberland recovering.
Dave is the only one who is still pretty fucked up. His third surgery didnt go so well, but he had a good night last night. So we will see.
