Anybody know a good shop that still does some work with carburetors? I have an '85 Mustang GT. I just installed a new Edelbrock 4 bbl. and am having problems with idling.

I'm sure Cincy Speed can help you out. You might even sweet talk Adam into poking around on it. If it were a Holley i could help but i don't know jack about Edels.

Well, problem solved. I still had that aluminum heat shield that was under the original carb. I took the new Edelbrock off, removed that shield and put the new carb back on. I believe that shield was catching the throttle plates and not letting them close all the way. Car runs much better. Idles better than it ever has. :D
