Anyone have a bumpsteer gauge I can borrow this weekend? I'll give you a deposit for it and some cash when I'm finished. Or beer or whatever.

Look up "Bumpsteer Gage" on Google, I found an article a while ago that showed a very simple way to do it without a fancy gage. I'll see if I can find it.....

Right before I clicked on this link I got done doing exactly that. Later today I'll be going to buy a laser pointer and mirror. I won't get actual numbers for bumpsteer, but I'll be able to visualize the bumpsteer, and mark points on a piece of graph paper. Arguably a better method, since you the bumpsteer is so exaggerated on the paper. I'll just adjust spacers till I get it to a minimum.

I figure I can make something very similar up for like $5.

Dots on the paper tell both bumpsteer (horizontal movement) and camber gain (vertical). Pretty interesting. I can just count blocks on the graph paper and use that as my unit of measurement.
