Has anyone replaced the rack on their car I don't understand how you disconnect the tie rod ends from the wheel.

Take the nut off and smack the square part of the spindle with a big hammer. sometimes you have to put some ass in it. Or if you are replacing the the tie rod you can use a fork.

Thanks for the help. It took a lot of ass but I got the bastard apart,that was the hardest thing I have ever tried to break loose.
