Why?? just wondering..

swapping cams in a 4 valve is no easy task and swapping in another set of stock cams doesn't justify all that work in my opinion.

I heard swapping both or either the intake/exhaust cam can give a Mach some hp gains. Ive been thinking about it, if I could get 10-20 more rwhp and a stock idle for cheap, then it would be cool. I know its a lot of work, but if I keep it n/a and dont want to spend a grand or two on custom or just nice cams, Cobra cams seem like a good option.

Basically if I could get some for less than a few hundred dollars, and do the work myself, it would be worth it IMO.

There are other things you should probably look into before a cam swap. Im not trying to bash you by saying this, but I think a 4V cam swap may be a little too much for you. Do some simpler and more effective mods first before you dive into something like this.

I totally agree, I was just curious to see whats out there and if anyone had any, or if used cams such as these were hard to find. If I did the swap, it wouldnt be soon. I would like to make sure the rear end is built up a bit, the transmission is still good, and most of all get it tuned asap. I dont want to run spray, and I want to have a decent n/a motor. If I went with good AM cams, then I would need new springs/retainers, etc id imagine. I will start with a few more basic bolt ons. I like working on my own stuff though, and installing a new cam may be the hardest thing or close to it to do on a mod motor, but im up for a challenge.

I really don't think you are going to see 15-20 RWHP by swapping stock cams for stock cams.

i think 50/50's an adj. uppers an solid lowers an drag radials out back an 90/10's with coilovers an a k member up front is what id put my focus on. those cars make power just get it to the ground..

cams are overrated for those things spray it for god sakes!!! lol

You could spend an extra $10-15 a piece and skip the lakewoods for some strange adjustable pieces.
