Yep...i have a Mach 1 shifter ball in mine...it gets super hot. I've burned myself on the door handles too.

My 2011 5.0 aluminum shift knob is a some of a B. I want a white rousch knob and get rid of the heat conductor I have now and the white looks pretty racy!!! I use a can coozy over the top of it now to keep the some away from it when it sits. Seems to work but shouldnt have to do it.
