Well I was getting ready for umtr tomorrow, loading the trailer and I twisted my ankle getting out of the trailer. I went to urgent care and they said it was broke. I broke the fibula (whatever the fuck that is). They gave me some half ass splint.I never broke anything before. I raced bikes, played football and wrestled all thru school. Im pissed. Now I have to go to a orthopedic surgeon monday. My wife is a nurse and she wont let me do anything. She has to work all weekend. Im going to sneak out and go to the race tomorrow. Hopefully I can shift this thing.

Its my throttle foot. The good thing is that my foot never leaves the floor. If I can just push it down, were good.:bigthumb

Your fibula is the smaller bone in your lower leg. It isn't the main weight bearing bone but i'm sure it serves some purpose, lol.

That sucks. Get it fixed and let it heal up properly. I sprained my ankles and chipped a bone many times and just kept on going never letting it heal up properly. Well I finally tore ligaments and had to have surgery. Two pins screws had to be inserted and ligaments re attached. It didn't turn out so good. My bad ankle is twice the size as my good one. It won't flex up or to the side and in constant pain. It affects me every day of my life. It needs repaired again but I'm putting it off. I don't want to go through it again and miss three plus months of work. Word from the wise on this one. Let it heal up.

Well hell yea. Its my right foot. My throttle foot never leaves the floor.lol I worked on the suspension this week and wasnt ready for it to leave that good the first pass. I short shifted into 2nd and it slowed down. Next pass we were ready. Jay said it 60 footed with the back tires. With the bad air it went a 10.73

Sorry to hear about your leg. I broke my fibula and had a spiral fracture in the tibula and broke the "ball" off the bottom of the fibula just by slipping on ice and falling weird on my left leg. I got a metal plate with 12 screws holding it and one screw that pulled the ball protion of the bone back into place. 3 years later and it still is giving me grief.

I think your injury was worse than mine. I dont even have that much pain. Its just a little tough getting around.
