I know there are a few guys on here that ride...check this out...

I decided to drop a good chunk of cash and do some upgrades to my bike Ive been wanting for a while. I destroyed the stock Suntour fork and had been looking a Fox units, but I didnt really want to spend more on a fork than I did on the bike. lol

Jason at Reser Bicycle Outfitters offered me a killer deal on a sweet Fox F-series fork, so I decided to pull the trigger and get it. Well after it was installed I realized the bearings were pretty much destroyed in the front axle. Every time I would pedal hard, the brake rotor would rub the fork. I didnt want to hit the trail and tear up that new fork if it came apart. So...they cut me a killer deal on a Mavic wheel set. super light and strong, and they look killer on the bike. I decided to also put a better quaility Shimano chain on it and upgrade the rear gear cassette from 8 to 9speed, installed a Shimano Shado derailleur, Race Face crankset and new gear selectors. Oh yea, also went with some Maxxis Minion Downhill tires too!

Took the bike to East Fork Sunday, and went to Devue Park yesterday. DAMN! its like riding a completely different bike! So much more fun to ride. Im pretty sure it was worth making the bike 4 times its value from the original price. lol

so who wants to get a group riding day together???

I run the Minion on the front of mine too, but I run a Larsen TT on the back. I have no idea how well that setup does here since I've barely ridden, but out in AZ on the rocks and sand, it was awesome.

I would love to get into mountian biking. My current ride is a Trek Navigator and I don't think it will cut it for the trails. It is more of a comfort street bike.
