Truck runs very good. Drives good but it needs new rear shocks and it has a pull to the right. Everything else is good and everything works as it should.

Truck has some rust issues, but it cleans up good

The Bushwacker Cut Out Fender flares actually require you to cut out like 2-3" of the fenders so you would be cutting off what looks like all the rust anyway. Would definitely make the truck look 10x better too. Good luck on the sale!

I'm so sick of this shit, you have to give shit away or trade it just to move it and the only people that are buying are lowballing the fuck out of ya because they know that nobody else is going to buy it because nobody has any f=ing money...... I drove one hour one way for some idiot to offer me $800 f-ing dollar for the truck.... He failed say that he was looking to stick it in sideways twice to the first person that would take it and that he was wanting to buy a vehicle to make money off of it...... WTF...... He's naming off all the shit he wants to do to it and then says, "Well if I do all of that, I wont be able to make any money off of it if I pay 2k for it" So am I supposed to feel sorry because he wants to buy a bunch of new parts and then cant make any money off of me???? I dont F-ing think so!!!! I am so pissed at this point, and then he says, "I couldnt give u more than $800 and do what I need to do" So, I politely said, "Well, I cant do that" Hoping at this point to keep the peace and maybe he will offer gas money for me and my wife driving 2 fucking vehicles an hour one way so he could low ball the shit out of me and waist 3 hours of my life that I cant get back now.... But NOPE, He says "OK, well thank ya buddy" Needless to say, My wonderful wife restrained me and kept me out of jail..... This is a $2500 (at least) truck any day of the week... Im not trying to screw anybody over, I just want a fair price for a good truck and cant give it away.... I feel sorry for the next guy, especially if my wife isnt with me....

Brake lines look good, the only issue with the truck is the rear shocks, if you hit a wash board in the road the back tires will start dribbling like a basketball and you have to slow down to make it stop... Kinda like the wobble in the front of Jeep cherokees when the steering damper is bad, hit a bump and the steering wheels shakes real bad until you slow down....

Im not aware of any issues with ford truck trannies, dodge on the hand, there auto trannies in the 90's were very weak..

Yeah,I heard bad things about those too. If you were closer I would definitely be interested seeing I just went through CL and can't find a decent 4x4 for under $2k, I am in the market for one. I just have no way of making it to indiana being i live on the other side of cincy with no ride.

I live in northern clermont county, in the goshen area but again I have no ride. I agree with the not meeting up, I've dealt with probably 15 people that didn't show up, or when I showed up they lowballed the hell out of me too.

Frontend seems tight, might be a tire(front tires are almost new) or alignment pull, its not bad, you can just hold wheel steady and it drives just fine, and the 4 wheel drive works fine, its push button and the lockouts have been upgraded to warn lockouts..

Dont believe everything you hear. The E4OD is basically bullet proof. The only problem that I have ever heard of them having is the torque converter ballooning, and that was was mainly in diesels. Ive had several of these trucks with that tranny and never had a problem. The M5OD-R2 5spd on the other hand...its built my mazda...that alone should say it all.

I rarely do, I have seen 2 of these trannies give out pulling boats, one was a 12ft john boat other was a 20ft skeeter bass boat. Both had under 150k miles and were well taken care of trucks. Anyhow does the truck have a clean title?

Also, what you've described above is exactly what's going on in the housing market. It makes complete sense that the used vehicle market is following suit. People are losing the roofs over their heads. The demand for old 4x4s isn't there right now.

CL is absolutely loaded with used vehicles that are not selling for "BOOK" value (whatever the hell people call book value). ie KBB, Edmunds, AOL etc... Prices are falling rapidly.

BTW, if that had an Extended cab and a PowerStroke in it, we'd be talking! I'm in the market for that right now.
